Duvel NT Electric Guitar
The word Duvel, which is Dutch for Devil, conjures an image of innate wickedness – the very wickedness that is the soul of rock and blues, and the nature of this guitar. The light weight 1 5/8” thick reverse-style neck-through-body design is a beautifully balanced marriage of Honduras mahogany and hand-carved figured eastern maple. The 5-piece body/neck core with eastern maple cap, incorporated with the ’59 style carved neck, conjures a gutsy full-range tone and sustain unavailable in most other set-neck or neck through designs. The Duvel NT differs from other neck-through designs by its unique extra-rigid body wing joint, and the added maple cap. The result is full resonant tone emanating from every corner of the guitar, with attack and sustain more in tune with set-neck cousins. Another factor in its signature sound are those gutsy, hand-wound, gobs-of-tone generating V16 “777” pickups, designed like a fresh-from-the-factory original PAF. The Duvel NT is a fully handmade, uncompromising guitar, with unmatched tone and playability. All V16 guitars come with a lifetime workmanship guarantee.
